1. Application Background:

Pharmaceutical and chemical workers who produce highly active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) usually wear protective clothing when working with these pharmacologically active powders. In the process of contact with the powder, the staff will have fine dust attached to their work clothes, and when removing the work clothes from the controlled area to the uncontrolled area, the dust will fall into space to cause pollution or breathe to cause personal danger in the body. In order to reduce the pollution of these materials from the controlled area to the uncontrolled area and cause personal harm to the staff, it is necessary to enter the mist shower to remove harmful substances, and set up a mist shower at the exit of the workshop can wet the high-risk dust adhering to clothing and equipment, reducing the harm of high-pollution dust.

2. How the mist shower works:

Mist air shower will produce less than 10 um of fog, or even smaller, wrapping the dust to achieve decontamination. The mist shower nozzle is not general type, it must adopt a specially designed nozzle and control its operation through intelligent PLC.

Mist shower will form a low-flow wet mist, which can coat the micro-particles of the raw material powder that pollutes the work clothes and continuously condense into large material particles. The high-speed airflow (≥25m/s) around the large particles will prevent the dust particles from contacting the droplets, and the small droplets of the micro particles can easily agglomerate the micro dust particles. Large particles of materials fall and settle on the surface of the filter or in the stolen goods collection tray through the high-speed airflow (≥25m/s). Realize the generation of 5~10μm droplets and quickly reach air saturation. Wet all surfaces and form water droplets on clothing. As time goes by, the water drops slowly increase until they roll off the clothes gently.
